Gideon Conn
Gideon Conn is one of a current crop of emerging Mancunian songwriters and performers.
Alternative by nature, Gideon’s shows are breath-taking from start to finish. With a cheeky smile he makes the audience jump for joy, sigh with delight then leave asking what they have just seen and and when can I hear it again?
Describable as folk-hiphop, Gideon’s debut single ‘I want you around’ was made breakfast single of the week on 6Music and is a favourite of Huw Stevens on Radio 1 and Jon Kennedy on XFM.
Gideon and his band have won the hearts of many fans at gigs and festivals around the UK. Scroobius Pip saw Gideon at Glastonbury and was blown away – “The People of Britain may not know it yet, but Gideon Conn is a national treasure!”
Trevor Lock
Trevor Lock is the master of improvised silliness, no two sets or shows are ever the same.
Headlining clubs up and down the country, and performing solo shows at theatres and festivals around the country, Trevor is a highly original and sought after act and MC.
Trevor currently is resident headliner at The 99 Club’s Trevor Lock’s Philosophy Society in Leicester Square and resident MC at The Comedy Bar Islington at The Chapel Bar.
Trevor supported Russell Brand on his sell out UK tour Shame and co-hosted The Russell Brand Radio Show on BBC6 Music.
Trevor is a regular performer on multi award winning Channel 4 comedy series Star Stories and was a cast member of cult 90′s comedy Fist of Fun written by and starring Stewart Lee and Richard Herring.
Charlie Dark
Fresh off the back of his highly successful one man show ‘Have Box Will Travel’ internationally renowned Dj and poet Charlie Dark drops into One Taste for his debut performance with his latest project ‘The God of Road’.
Bringing poems and beats together in a journey through Bass Poetry this is mash up literature for the mind and the feet.
Daisy
Daisy Kelly-Granger has been singing all her life. Blessed with a natural stage confidence, aged four she made all the parents at nursery cry after delivering a heart wrenching solo of ‘Away In A Manger’. She got very upset because she thought she’d done something awful.

Cate Ferris
Brighton based talent, best known for fronting Afterspark, Cate Ferris has set out on her own solo mission which promises to be a dazzling as her bands former work. Magical bluesy songs sung with an incredible voice. Folk and dark soul lie at the heart of her sound.
