Dom Coyote

Dom Coyote is a singer, rapper and producer from the UK.

His work draws influences from acoustic music, hip hop, dub and electronica. He helped form UK hip hop group Arkane and jazz/punk group Gentlemen Rebles.

Ventral Dorsal is his first solo release.

Laura Dockrill (Dockers MC)

First seen at Latitude festival by the OneTaste crew, this quirky lady who goes by the name Dockers MC had us caught up in her tales of London life and hilarious delivery.

She manages to collect pockets of words together to create a type of ‘flo-etry’ that makes your brain tap its feet and smile at the same time.

Its Dockers’ clarity and hilarity combined that makes her talent immensely entertaining. Delivered in a captivating way that literally has the audience indulging on her every word, and vying to be caught in her dottily dressed eye contact.

Ghosts of Leith

Lead singer of the beautifully luscious band Blue Rose Code, Ross Wilson has embarked upon a more rootsy solo side project named Ghost of Leith.

Drawing his influences from John Martyn, Iron & Wine and Ryan Adams, Ross writes earnest lyrics and deep set melodies that will have you listening intently while he pulls on your heart-strings with that romantically somber Scottish accent of his.

Holly Walker

Holly was brought up on Mozart and punk rock, as she got older she got really angry with everyone, wrote down all the insults she could think of and turned them into ditties.

She now performs a tragicomic medley of show tunes, love songs and thrash pop.

We found her playing at an underwear exhibition and bagged her for ourselves.

Maverick Sabre

London born, Irish raised singer songwriter Maverick Sabre is breaking the mould.

With his soulful voice and skillful guitar playing, he draws audiences in and leaves them in wonder. With his lamenting social-political content, this young rising star is generating a lot of interest.

Recently tipped by Hot Press as being the Irish newcomer who will give the established artists some serious competition, Maverick was also nominated ‘Best Homegrown Act’ in the 2008 Urban Takeover Awards.
