Bunty Le Jule
Bunty, amazing looping vocalist from Brighton is infamous on the festival scenes for her solo work and singing in bands such as Resonators. She has recently started a new and quirky trio that combine looping, viola & 3 part harmony. We’re very excited about this OneTaste debut

Lail Arad

Lail’s songs tell little stories. Some will make you laugh. Some will make her laugh. One might make you laugh and cry at the same time.
Her voice is her friend. Sometimes it is loud. Sometimes it is quiet. She is practicing being very loud and very quiet at the same time. Her shows are special. Some people say they are theatrical. Some people say they are honest. She wonders if she can be theatrical and sincere at the same time. Lail Arad lives in London with her goat and two chickens. She prefers writing songs to writing biographies.
Marques Toliver

Marques makes his debut at OneTaste. Originally from New York and now living in the UK, Marques brings with him hisunique blend of classical soul. Armed with an incredible voice, violin and loopstation, this is a set not to be missed first for its novelty and then for its quality. he’s also been tipped as the next big thing by Dazed and Confused.

Paradox

The first poet to perform at the first ever OneTaste showcase in 2004.
Paradox is a legend on the poetry scene and an old friend of the show. One of the founding members of the legendary night,
Gods and Goddesses (Cambridge and London), Paradox has run nights, performed poetry, written plays, acted and now
specialises in workshops. After an incredible life changing experience and a couple of years out, Paradox is back with new material, more potent and magical than ever. We feel blessed to have him back on our stage.
Poeticat

Catherine Martindale fronts this poetical 4 piece. Originally starting with Cat’s poetry, this music and spoken word fusion was born out of Cat seeking a new way to perform her words. We think that the blend is great. This will be Poeticat’s first time on the Globe stage, but you may remember her packed showcase at OneTaste Festival 09!
