MC Xander:
London’s MC Xander has been described as a ‘sonic shaman’. A Rapper and beatboxer, this innovative artist uses nothing more than a mic, a pedal controlled sampler, an FX box and his own vocal chords to record, loop and edit the beats, sounds and words emanating from his mouth. This multi-vocalist has been touring the festival circuit with OneTaste for the past 3 years and is guarantee to blow you away.

Gabby Young:
The hotly tipped for 2010, Gabby Young, has been making waves in the UK with her vintage clothing tours, debut album release and launch of her own online fashion shop. Gabby will be busy playing many stages around the festival circuit this summer, but will be coming to OneTaste for an intimate and exclusive acoustic set. Not to be missed! Incredible soaring vocals, heart-breaking lyrics with wild cabaret style to lose yourself in.

Kate Tempest:
With astounding flow, lyrical maturity and sound social awareness for a 20 year old, Londoner Kate Tempest is one of those music makers that instantly prompt you to stop whatever you’re doing and reconsider whether you should bother carrying on with it at all, such is the extent of her politically coherent, poetic talent. Tempest really is a fiery hot prospect and a core artist of the OneTaste crew.

Sound of Rum:
Kate Tempest’s hip-hop 3 piece will be performing a beatsy acoustic set, mixing spoken word with raw grooves from Archie Marsh and Ferry Lawrenson. Not to be missed.

PoetiCat:
Catherine Martindale fronts this poetical 4 piece. Originally starting with Cat’s poetry, this music and spoken word fusion was born out of Cat seeking a new way to perform her words. We think that the blend is great. Hot of the back of their successful EP launch in May 2010, this will be PoetiCat’s debut at Glastonbury.

Ventriloquist:
Founder of Soundseasy, Tongue Fu and Ventriloquist band, Chris Redmond is a busy man. He also tells stories and that is what he’ll be doing for us. Intelligent and always entertaining, Ventriloquist will touch on everything from cows, to E.T’s, festival calamities to lost knowledge from the ancients. A incredible poet.
