We're starting a brand new thing at OneTaste. Come join us for our first OneTaste Workshop at a new venue in Old St, The Book Club! It's only 5 pounds, plus you get a free glass of wine on entry. Every month we will be presenting a new workshop led by a OneTaste artist on a myriad of different subjects. The first session is one of the best poetry workshops we've ever experienced and we want to share it with you.
Chris “Paradox” Patterson, the first spoken word artist to play OneTaste back in 2004, h

as an incredibly unique story. Combining his life-experience with his poetical expertise, you will be given a practical insight into the mind of a performance poet to discover you're own talent in this area. Yes, everyone can create art; you're actually already doing it in your life and Paradox, will show you how.
By the end of the session you will have heard some incredible poetry and created your very own Epic Tragicomic Semi-Autobiographic Performance Poem. NO literary, oratory, or “artistic” skills required…just the full presence of your existence!

  1. Such a great evening. I didn’t know if I was going to join in and although I got the total fear, I did and it was so worth it, I wrote a poem and felt like I achieved something. Thank you Paradox! Challenging, rewarding and insightful and of course fun. Thank you to everyone who came, you made it brilliant x x
