Nick Mulvey

Nick performed his first show with OneTaste back in 2007 and since then he has played in prestigious venues throughout London. Nick Mulvey sings and plays African-style acoustic guitar with a positive karma that you can feel in his music and hear in his words. The lyrics and melodies reach out and wrap around you leaving you with a little of that vibe for the rest of the day.

Rob Auton

Robert Auton has ideas and sees if other people like those ideas by writing them down, standing up on stage, and saying them out loud. He has walked slowly, but with purpose, onto a huge variety of poetry and comedy stages up, down and across the British isles.

Amber States

Our first OneTaste debut of the night are four piece band of banjo, cello, guitars and keys make up Amber States. They create a sound not unfamiliar in the burgeoning nu-folk scene, but they seem to steer clear of the hackneyed fiddle and guitar style that has become so popular and instead carve their own sound and produce a short but life-affirmingly magnetic set that gets the biggest crowd and the loudest cheer of the night. Their set is laden with catchy hooks, dreamy melodies, exhilarating builds and a toe tapping rhythms.

Rachel Rose Reid

Rachel Rose Reid is our second OneTaste debut of the night and she is a storyteller. Creating Live Lit performances to melt boundaries and build bridges between the oral tradition of our ancestors and the spoken word of today. She has been named a rising star by the Independent on Sunday, and is winner of the UK Young Storyteller of the Year.

Roxy Rawson

Roxy Rawson knows how to bewitch a crowd. The classically trained musician has been bringing her unique blend of impish violin vocals to the London gig scene for a few years. Her music is beautifully peculiar; a sweet mix of classical notes and frenzied, catch-me-if-you-can lyrics interspersed with bursts of laughter. She doesn’t take herself too seriously and is original to the point of raising eyebrows; she’ll pluck the violin and substitute pens for her bow. Our last but no means least debut for OneTaste and we’re mighty excited!

OneTaste Choir

The OneTaste Choir, led by soul singer, Stac, perform close harmony a cappella songs at nearly every OneTaste event. The Choir have collaborated with artists such as Alice Russell, Inua Ellams, Aloe Blacc

and many other OneTaste and non-OneTaste artists on special arrangements to add something magic to their music and spoken word. It’s an amazing thing having 15 girls singing together, and we think you tasters are going to love it.
