OneTaste, renowned music and spoken word collective from London, UK are hosting their debut show in the USA as part of September 12th’s Interdependence Day in NYC!

Weaving together excerpts from the critically acclaimed independent film ‘What About Me’ by 1 Giant Leap and new film Wakan Tanka, with the finest musicians, poets, rappers and dancers from the UK and the USA, OneTaste has created a multi-dimensional, captivating and thought provoking showcase which explores what a truly interdependent world would actually feel like and what it takes to get there.

From underground UK talents like MC Xander to International rappers like SPEECH from Arrested Development and The Narcicyst, this show unites the artists who share an important common message; we are all interdependent as people, as a planet, we all need to become the change we want to see in the world.

The Narcicyst

Canadian rapper, originally from Iraq, The Narcicyst has performed in live shows across Canada, Europe, the United States and the Middle East, often backed by a live band and vocalists. He has also opened for a number of high profile acts like Public Enemy, Busta Rhymes, Talib Kweli & Kanye West!

MC Xander

Multi-vocalist and beatbox extraordinaire, MC Xander has been wowing crowds all over Europe for the last 5 years with his all vocal dub-flavoured, politically inspired beats.

Kate Tempest

International dancer, actress and corporeal mime artist, Lotan Sapir, within her work, explores identity, belonging and physical borders that keep us from unity as a planet.

Ramzy Suleiman

Palestinian/American artist and Berklee graduate, Ramzy Suleiman is well known to the New York music scene. His soulful musicality is matched by the poignancy of

his lyrics on issues of freedom and social justice. Ramzy will appear with his solo and with his band, The Brothers Handsome.
