Borderless Beats @ Wilderness Festival

08 Aug 2014

Roots, Dabke, Gnawa, Soul, Electronic & Hip Hop with Native Sun, 47SOUL and Electric Jalaba

Wilderness Festival, Oxfordshire

OneTaste brings its new project BORDERLESS BEATS to the Wilderness Stage. The show is a spectacular live international collaboration uniting some of the best underground musicians and dancers from across the world. Mozambique to Palestine, UK to USA to Morocco – These creative renegades unite under two intentions – to share their roots cultures and create the biggest parties possible.

Borderless show is like finding yourself at the best street party of the summer.

The Borderless movement launched in 2013 by throwing dance parties and shows across the city in the heat of London’s summer. Musicians like Natty, 47SOUL, MC Xander, Shadia Mansour, Native Sun, Jally Kebba Susso and Electric Jalaba all played as part of the shows. After a month of performing at everything from international festivals to warehouse parties, four of the acts travelled down to Zu Studios in Lewes to stage a creative lock-in. They spent a week sharing music, roots cultures and food. New music got made, wild performance experiments took place and the project re-launched itself at Passing Clouds.

This summer the artists are returning to the UK to spread their infectious borderless celebration to you people with their one-off festival performance of African Roots and Soul, Middle Eastern beats and Electronic dance grooves.  @onetasteuk  #borderlessbeats
