The city has a heart and its beating passionately in the form of London soulful electro-pop duo Pearl Apollo. Featuring the lush voice and electrifying performances of Tanya Auclair fired by guitarist-producer-Victorian gent The Horse. Tanya grew up by the Great West Road – bright-eyed and exotic, she defies classification. The Horse was reared on a farm in Devon. A true 21st century blend – expect flashes of 70′s funk, glitchy minimal beats, sparkling cold war synth layers and infectious choruses. With influences from Talking Heads to Roisin Murphy, Pearl Apollo shimmers and burns with an unmistakable honesty and magic.
