Following her live appearance last week on BBC Radio 1’s Gilles Peterson’s show, Alice Russell, one of Britain’s foremost female soul singers, is performing her biggest ever UK gig at the HMV Forum in Kentish Town on Thursday 9th December

Alice released her last album ‘Pot Of Gold’ in 2008 and has been touring since, including hugely successful trips to Europe and the US, where her incredible voice was compared to a range of global stars from Chaka Khan and Aretha Franklin to Joss Stone.

This gig is a warm up show for the new album due to be released in 2011 and Alice will be showcasing new tracks from the album as well as performing classics.
