Getting to the OneTaste events couldn't be easier

Venue History

The right venue is one of the most important elements of any event, it dictates what's possible and stamps it's own individual flavour on the show. We consider ourselves really lucky to be able to run our events in a venue that we absolutely love, run by great people.

The Bedford is an enormous 18th century pub although to think of it as just a pub would be to do it an enormous disservice. It boasts 3 floors of public space with some really unusual rooms and interesting decor. This is the kind of place that used to have an inn, a brothel! and a piano in the saloon (still does). This place has got history, man! We love the fact that people have been drinking and having good times here for well over a hundred years and that by running the OneTaste events here we're adding new chapters to it's history.

The New Room - The Globe Theatre

We are moving OneTaste to the Globe Theatre!! (pictured above) The Globe at The Bedford holds about 250 people and is one of the most inspiring spaces in which to watch live entertainment. Due to the success of OneTaste over the past year, The Globe will be our new home, as we move downstairs to start making our mark from 5th March onwards.

The Old Room - the beautiful Tavistock

Tavistock Theatre: A beautifully intimate room that holds 70 people, this is the room where we hold our regular One Taste events (when we're not taking over the whole building for a festival!) The room lends itself perfectly to acoustic music, poetry and theatre where the intimacy of being up close to the performers makes the emotional impact of the art even more powerful.

We're sure if you're visiting The Bedford for the first time at One Taste you'll want to return again. It's an award winning entertainments venue and gastropub with great food and entertainment every day of the week promoted by events manager and founder of the famous Kashmir Klub, Tony Moore.
